Hi, I’m Nick Ainis.
Author of Building Toronto's Skyline. Creating events and bringing together energetic entrepreneurs and professionals together to realize their potential in the condominium construction industry. Helping Construction Professionals Boost Their Skills and Build Winning Strategies for success.
I am advocating to fix the housing crisis in Ontario.
About Me & My Companies
I started my career studying Architecture at Ryerson Univiersity and graduated in 1998. From there I went straight into the construction industry. Talk about culture shock! It was a difficult transition but after a few jobs and companies; I finally got my first project management gig working on a Condo in Yorkville. I guess I would call myself a serial entrepreneur and my goal is to help others achieve their goals.
Fusioncorp Developments
While working at Intracorp Developments, and with a colleague and friend of mine, I founded Fusioncorp in 2005, with no money or no jobs. Our first project was a bathroom rennovation for $5,000. Today we are a Tarion Registered Vendor-Builder with projects ranging from $25 to $50 million.

Oikeo Non-Profit
In 2016, I established a non for profit housing company dedicated to housing innovation research, with the goal of making housing more affordable and within reach for the average Canadian.

FC Entertainment & Hospitality
When getting married in 2019, I upped the ante. Having enjoyed designing and planning my wedding with my wife; we subsequently purchased a heritage building and are now converting it into an event venue, restaurant with entertainment and shared workspace complex; all under FC Entertainment & Hospitality Inc., est. 2021.

More to Come...
I suppose being a serial entrepreneur and with the new hospitality company more new businesses and opportunities are on the horizon; but I have established www.nickainis.com to try to help share knowledge with other professionals, especially young people entering the construction industry with little or no connections, to help them on their carreer or entrepreneurial path!
